The marsh is as pleasant for families in stroll as for the great variety of plants and animals which live there.

A diverse and rich environment

Enjoy a series of meadows, woods, canals and ponds spread out over 1230 hectares. On small wooden pontoones, you first cross a peaty little wood to finally meet the pollarded willows and the quiet marsh, in which thrive birds, Highland cattle and batrachians.

Observing wildlife

Birds, herons and a multitude of fishes, insects and amphibians find refuge in the shallow waters and the surrounding areas. The marsh is the only home to many rare species and protected flowers.
